Chris Wright joined the news team in January of 2012. Prior to coming to Eugene, Chris reported for WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky. He also spent six years in the heart of Tornado Alley at KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma and KOAM in Joplin, Missouri. While adjusting to all the rain, he’s enjoying the lack of extreme weather in Western Oregon.

Chris is a native of the New York City suburbs. He received a B.A. from Northwestern University, and a Masters from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University.

When not at work, Chris enjoys exploring the outdoor activities the Willamette Valley has to offer with Lexi, his Labrador. He is a huge college football fan, and is looking forward to seeing if Autzen is really the loudest stadium in the country.
