Shelley Kurtz anchors the 5 a.m., 6 a.m. and Noon news and has been here since 1983. Previously, she worked at stations in Spokane, Washington, Wichita, Kansas, and Portland. Shelley graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California with a B.A. in Broadcast Communications.

Shelley is active in the community and is particularly involved with groups that focus on family, parenting & children's issues. Shelley and her husband Ron have two children, Kiley and Cameron. The children keep them busy, but they've decided to make their home here and "in their spare time" work on projects that positively affect the community.
