Addison Taylor
Addison joined the news team in January of 2009.
He comes to Oregon from the scorching deserts of Phoenix, Arizona. Addison graduated from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Communication. While at ASU he anchored, reported, and produced for the Cronkite School’s award winning newscast “Cronkite NewsWatch” with his work often airing on local television stations across the state. While getting his degree he worked behind the scenes at the Fox and ABC affiliates in Phoenix. His diverse reporting experience includes traveling across the Arizona-Mexico border to cover violence against American tourists stemming off the Mexican drug cartel war and traveling to St. Johns, Arizona covering the national murder trial of an 8 year-old boy accused of murdering his father. Addison’s education has been anything but mainstream, he has studied abroad in Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. He’s the only American citizen in his family; his three older sisters and parents were all born in Canada, but now live in the southwest. He misses his family and friends, but is thrilled to call Oregon his new home. While not reporting the news you can find Addison at the gym, feeding his coffee addiction, or at the dog park with the love of his life, his pug Paige.
