Glen Beeby was born and raised in Kenmore, Washington. He is very close with his six older brothers and sisters, in the always growing bunch called The Fam.

While attending Inglemoor High School, Glen realized he wanted to become a broadcaster, so he made his way to Washington State University. During his time at WSU, Glen became involved in several activities including Cable 8 Productions, KUGR Radio and calling the local high school sporting events on KQQQ in Pullman. In 2008 he graduated from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication with a degree in Broadcast News and a minor in Sports Management.

After graduation Glen did his internship with KOMO 4 News in Seattle, then moved to Roseburg to start his first job as a reporter and anchor.
