Olivia Aly joined the newsroom in July 2011 coming from our sister station KBOI in Boise, where she worked as an editor for nearly a year.

She is a 2009 graduate from the University of Idaho with her B.S. in Radio/TV/Digital Media Production and a minor in political science.

While in college she served as Vice President for “Alpha Sigma Lambda the Adult National Honor Society,” and also spent a year serving as the Co-Chair for the “Borah Foundation and Symposium,” which focuses on the causes of war and the paths to peace, bringing keynote speakers from around the world into the community for the annual one week symposium.

She also has experience as a one man band field reporter for the student produced news show, “Mostly Moscow,” that airs on Idaho Public Television, and as a camera operator for the University of Idaho’s Video Production Center.
