Brian Elder
Brian is a native Oregonian who grew up in the small town of Lakeview on his parent's cattle ranch. He attended the University of Oregon and majored in Electronic Media, graduating in 2008. While he was in college Brian worked as a sports reporter for Palestra.net, an online affiliate of Fox News. He also worked for the campus TV station -- DuckU TV -- where he was the Sports Director for two years.
Brian's journey started in the summer of 2007 when he interned with the sports department, before eventually being hired on as a sports reporter in April of 2008. He loves the opportunity to cover the teams that he grew up watching as a kid. In his spare time Brian enjoys getting a workout in at the gym, playing just about any sport, and taking advantage of the great outdoor opportunities in the Eugene area. |
