Three siblings are anxious to find their forever family. They want to stay together and remain in contact with an older sister.
This week's Heart Galery children are Stormie, Rieley and Morgan. Stormie, Rieley and Morgan are about as close as they can be. They met us at "Riverplay" in downtown Eugene, so we could get to know each other and they could release some of their energy! Stormie and Morgan sat on something that moved when it was cranked. "Is that fun?" she asked her little brother. "Yeah!" he said enthusiastically. The children are in different foster homes. Rieley and Morgan in one home, Stormie in another and Big Sister Courtney, in yet another home. Courtney will not be placed with the other three children, however contact between her and her siblings is necessary. Because they care so much for each other. So, these times when the children get together, are special. The children's caseworker says, the children are just as precious as they appear. Said Dawn Roth, the children's case worker, "Stormie is really a girly girl. She loves dolls, loves to dance, great singer. She has some skills, loves to perform. They're all 3 affectionate children, really bonded to each other." Stormie is 8, Rieley is 4 and little Morgan is just 3. Rieley and Morgan are very close. Since there are 3 of them, Roth hopes to find adoptive parents who have older children, or are very skilled in dealing with littleones.' Roth explains. "Definitely experienced parents with a lot of parenting skills and able to access community resources involvement in the educational system." The parents who adopt these children must also be open to uncertain issues, due to severe developmental delays in the boys. Stormie, however isan excellecnt student and is very social. Riverplay proved to be a perfect place for the children to play and reconnect. You could tell, they just hope their time apart will soon come to an end and they'll be together again, with their forever family.
