Heart Gallery - John Luke and Angel

 Whether they are playing sports or camping outdoors... This morning's Heart Gallery children are full of energy. I'd like to introduce you to the twins, John-Luke... and Angel.

 

(clank of basketballs hitting the rim)

 

It doesn't matter that it's cold....the sun is out and these brothers are non-stop energy....
("My name is Angel, my name is John Luke.  What do you guys like to do?
"I like to play soccer and basketball.
I like to play basketball and football.")
The ten year old twins are working their shots, while we get acquainted at a neighborhood park. John Luke and Angel have been in foster care for years.
The boys are more 'settled' now... credit a good foster home, where they have been together for 7 months and, have been exposed to lots of different activities, all of which John and Angel love... especially a recent survival camping trip.
("We love to go camping when 2 or 3 months ago we did a survival trip with all boys.  We had to make our own survival camp house.")
("There was a big that fell down and there was another tree by it we put logs over the top of it.  Then we put branches and stuff over the logs...then we put grass on the bottom so we could sleep on it.")
Both boys say, if they're not camping or playing sports, they're doing taekwondo. They're working on their belts at this taekwondo center.

The boys are both well-spoken.  They say, they're ready for their forever family...even have their lists ready:
("I'm looking forward to having an active mom and dad that like to play together and go on hikes and go camping.  Me and Angel grew up with a lot of teenagers so we'd like to be with teenagers. ""older brothers?"
"yeah")
They say an older sister would be ok, too....and dogs would be great.
