Heart Gallery - Avery
By KVALIn this morning's Heart Gallery story, if you didn't see our story on Avery awhile back, I will introduce you to him again, this morning.
This is Avery....he's a great guy....very smart and at the same time, very shy.
He smiled a lot and was a little embarrassed, perhaps to say a lot....and I'd probably react the same way, if a big camera were pointing at me. Avery is 12 and he’s small for his age but has a big imagination.
He loves to read and is big into J-R-R Tolkein.
In a family, he'd do well if he were the youngest.
He was in a permanent placement that didn't work out, and he's still hurting from that experience, but he is willing to try again.
So you have to give him a lot of credit for that.
Avery is one of the brighter boys I've met.
He's definitely not into sports....he's more of a reader and writer.
He does have a great personality and needs encouragement to feel like he can show his true self.
