Heart Gallery - Michael

In this morning's Heart Gallery story....a teenager who hasn't given up hope of finding his forever family. This is Michael....he's almost 15 years old....and he wanted to learn how to skateboard.
So, we arraigned for him to meet up with Frank, a 6 year skateboard team member from Board Sports, in Eugene. Frank knows his way around the skateboard, and local skateboard parks....Frank gave Michael instructions....and Michael gave it a try. You'd normally find Michael with his nose in a book, but on this sunny, fall day, he was out, enjoying a new sport.
Typically, Michael enjoys baseball and track...in school, he's into science and math. Someday, he says, he'd like to be a doctor....perhaps a surgeon.
At 15, a lot of guys would give up on finding their forever family, but not Michael....while he's bounced around a lot in his young life, he's hoping *that* will change and he'll be able to find a home, and call it his own.
