Holiday Breakfast Recipes from Rich Walk, Albertson's

You Need: -1 pound sausage -6 slices of bread (Rich used sour dough) -dry mustard -quarter cup of cheddar cheese (Rich used combo cheddar and jack cheese package) -large bowl -4 eggs -milk -salt
First mix the wet ingredients: use 4 eggs, beat together with 2 cups of milk, plus 1 teaspoon salt. Add this mixture to dry ingredients....mix together.
Pour mixture into well-greased dish. Cover it up, put it in the refridgerator overnight, so it's ready to pull out on Christmas morning and put into the oven.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes covered, pull off the cover, bake for 15 more minutes.
CROCKPOT APPLE OATMEAL
You Need: -crock pot -2 sliced apples in 1/3 cup brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon -2 cups traditional oatmeal, 4 cups water and 1 tsp salt
Combine in large bowl:
4 cups of water, 2 cups old fashioned uncooked but well greased oatmeal, 1 teaspoon salt. Once well-mixed, pour it over the apples without stirring. Now that everything is in the crock pot, set the heat on low and let it cook for 8 to 9 hours. Serve with additional apples, other dried fruits, walnuts or more brown sugar.
