Ashley Kendall, 22, was shot in the back on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 17, in Coos Bay by her estranged husband, Travis Kendall, 26, both of Myrtle Point. Kendall then shot himself in the head after leading police on a chase back to his home. More

A call to the Oak Street Bridge in Roseburg Tuesday night led to the arrest of a Roseburg man who is now being held on nearly $1-million bail. Police say they attempted to arrest Donny Lynn Morgan, 20, but the man fought with officers.
