ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Police arrested a man Monday after they say he stole a car from a local dealership, and then drove back by the scene of the crime.

At around 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle form the Clint Newell Motors service department.

About eight hours later, a Clint Newell employee spotted the stolen 2008 Toyota Rav, when it drove right by the dealership it was allegedly stolen from.

Police attempted to pull over the vehicle but the driver sped away near Garden Valley.

Officers eventually boxed the car in and arrested the driver, Gabriel Baker, 34, of Roseburg.

After searching the vehicle, the police found stolen items from several local stores and Baker was arrested on several charges including Burglary and Attempt to Elude.
