ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A trial date has been set for a couple accused of poisoning and killing their neighbor's dog.

Bernard and Mitzi Daugherty will be in court on February 15, 2012, in front of Judge Bill Marshall. They entered a not guilty plea to the charges on Monday.

KPIC News first brought you this story back in May, when a neighbor's dog got sick and died after ingesting antifreeze that was allegedly put out in open containers by the Daughertys.

Both were indicted by a grand jury and charged with four different crimes, including aggravated animal abuse and criminal mischief.
