Teen driver indicted in spring fatal accidentBy KPIC Web Staff and Associated PressROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) - A Douglas County grand jury indicted a Roseburg teenager accused of driving drunk in a single-vehicle crash that killed two teens and injured another last month. The Roseburg Police Department says Jacob Gonzales has been charged with manslaughter, assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants. The 16-year-old is being prosecuted as an adult and was lodged Wednesday at the Douglas County Jail. Gonzales was behind the wheel of a car that struck a power pole and a fir tree March 28. He was 15 at the time and did not have a driver's license. The authorities say a blood test showed that Gonzales had a blood alcohol content of nearly twice the legal limit for a licensed driver old enough to drink. Copyright 2008 The Associated Press.
