ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Some community employees got sworn in Tuesday at the Douglas County Courthouse.

A group of community leaders gathered in the commissioner's meeting room to support those who were sworn in by County Clerk Barbara Nielsen.

Nielsen was sworn in, then the County Treasurer Sam Huff, County Commissioner Doug Robertson and Sheriff-elect John Hanlin were all sworn in.

After the small ceremony, people gathered for pictures and visited.

Commissioner-elect Susan Morgan, who will be taking position 1 now held by Marylin Kittleman, will be sworn in after the holidays on January 5.
