Police link bank robberies in Roseburg and Corvallis

By KVAL Web StaffCORVALLIS, Ore. -- Police believe the same woman robbed banks in Corvallis and Roseburg, and now authorities need your help apprehending the suspect. On Monday, a woman robbed the Washington Mutual Bank in Roseburg, Ore. Based upon the description of the suspect and commonalities between the two incidents, detectives from the Corvallis Police Department are investigating the possibility the same woman robbed the Key Bank in Corvallis on Dec. 2, 2008. Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding either of the two crimes is asked to contact Corvallis Police Detective Tyson Poole at (541) 766-6924. |
