Fly fisherman missing on North Umpqua River

GLIDE, Ore. - A Las Vegas man whose car was found along Highway 138 east of Glide, has not been heard from since July 12th.

26-year-old Bahman Khadivi had been fishing in several locations in Oregon, according to his family. They say he was an experienced fly fisherman.

Douglas County Sheriff's Department dive team members searched the North Umpqua River Friday, at Cable Crossing Park, about 10 miles east of Glide where Khadivi's 1997 Lexus 4-door had been located. The didn't find any clues to the disappearance of Khadivi.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Khadivi, is asked to call the Sheriff's office at 440-4471.
