BEND, Ore. - A news heliclopter captured aerial video and photographs of the Two Bulls Fire burning near Bend in Central Oregon on Monday.
An estimated 250 homes remain in danger, with 50 homes under immediate evacuation orders.
The fire grew over the weekend, burning across 6,800 acres.
Initial firefighting efforts focused on building fire lines between the flames and homes, as well as the watershed from which the City of Bend draws its drinking water.
As of Monday, the water shed was not in immediate danger, fire officials said.
Fire bosses estimate 5 percent containment as of Monday morning.
OVer 700 people are fighting the fire, with the help of 11 helicopters, 46 engines and 11 dozers. The estimated cost to fight the fire through Monday morning was $1.23 million.
