CANYONVILLE, Ore. -- Every Wednesday afternoon, people set up their tables in the parking lot of Seven Feathers, selling all-local goods and wares.

According to officials, the event started as a grassroots movement to bring a local market to south Douglas County.

Seven Feathers donated a spot in their parking lot, and the Canyonville Farmer's Market is now growing every week.

Officials say there were over 30 local vendors at last week's event, which featured music and wine from local wineries.

All of the vendors are local, and organizers say one comes from as far as Yoncalla.

They sell their home-grown produce, baked goods, handmade products and more, every Wednesday in Canyonville, starting at 4:00 p.m. and running until 7:00 p.m.

Officials say there will be other big celebrations at the market throughout the year, and will wrap up in October.
