By Herb WeisbaumLooking for a good used car? Here are four top picks from Kiplinger's Personal Finance. The 2006 Pontiac Vibe: A small wagon with a lot of style. It's based on the Toyota Corolla. The editors say a the Vibe delivers "great gas mileage in a small package." The 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS: Kiplinger's says the Sonata is a "budget friendly family car" that "competes with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry," but at a lower price tag. Hyundai redesigned the Sonata in 2006. It got a more powerful engine and some important safety equipment: electronic stability control and curtain air bags. The 2006 Acura TL: It's luxury at an affordable price. The TL is Acura reliable, and the editors say it offers "stellar resale values, standard safety features and fuel-efficient performance." The 2005 Toyota RAV4: gets the nod for top crossover SUV. Kiplinger's says it offers a mix of "functionality, fuel-friendliness and value."
