Forums to inform residents about new CCO

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- DCIPA is hosting two health care forums this week, to talk about their new coordinated care organization.

This group of healthcare providers put together a coordinated care organization with three goals in mind.

They want to provide Douglas County residents with better access, lower costs and better local area health care.

Dr. Ron Tribble told KPIC News that the program will be good for area residents. "Coordinated care organizations are going throughout the state, and this is our local one, and we are all very excited to be able to have the opportunity to bring it out into the community to say, "Here we are," and give you some ideas on what we can do to allow public involvement."

The first forum is Thursday 4:30 p.m. at the Myrtle Creek Community Center.

The second forum is on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the Douglas County Library Ford Room.
