ROSEBURG, Ore. -- U-Trans officials are considering raising the rates to ride, but they want to get public input before they do.
They will be holding public meetings to allow citizens to voice their opinions.
The first meeting will be held on Tuesday at the U-Trans office in Roseburg at 7:00 p.m.
Another will be held at the Myrtle Creek City Hall on Wednesday, also at 7:00 p.m.
The organization has not raised rates since 2007.
The proposed increases vary based on the ticket package, but most are about $2.
If U-Trans chooses to raise the rates, the new prices will kick in July 1.
