ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Theory of a Deadman took to the stage Thursday night at the Douglas County Fair.
They got their start in the late 1990's in Vancouver, only about eight hours north of Roseburg.
Frontman Tyler Connolly says the band name is a simple phrase on his whiteboard that he didn't know what to do with. "It's really one of the hardest things to do," he told KPIC News. "So, we chose Theory of a Deadman and it stuck."
Connolly and his band mates took in Douglas County on Wednesday, and he says they came away impressed. "I couldn't believe how nice it is here. I'm trying to think if something is going on that I don't know about, because everything is just so nice," he said. "All the lawns are so green and everything's mowed and the parks, yeah, I was impressed."
Theory of a Deadman's next stop: Chico, California.
