Shooter on the loose after man shot, injured outside Putters

EUGENE, Ore. -- An unidentified man was shot twice outside Putters in Eugene Sunday night.

Police said the alleged shooter is still on the loose and that they're using canine units to conduct a search of the area.

Police said the suspect is described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt and shorts.

Police said he was last seen wearing a heavy jacked over that t-shirt and wore a blue bandanna.

Police said the motive behind the shooting is unknown but that they suspect the victim was shot outside of Putters in the parking lot.

Sgt. Terry Fitzpatrick of Eugene Police told KVAL News about 100 people were inside Putters many of whom were attending a birthday party.

Emergency crews transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police responded to the parking lot of Putters just after before 7 p.m. and taped the area off to investigate.

This is a developing story.
