ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Police have made an arrest in the death of Jeffery Scott Bension, 39, of Roseburg, whose body was found by a hunter Monday morning.
Charles Henry Teal, 26, was lodged in the Douglas County Jail just before midnight on Monday. Douglas County Sheriff's Office officials say he was arrested around 11:00 p.m. Monday night in Myrtle Creek.
Bension's body was discovered off of Louis Creek Road by a passing hunter just before 8:00 a.m. on Monday. The Douglas County Major Crimes Team was activated and investigated at the scene.
Teal is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday in Douglas County Circuit Court.
