One of two teens accused of murdering a Canyonville man was arraigned in a Douglas County courtroom Wednesday morning.

17-year-old Charley Carnes of Tiller was formally arraigned in Judge William Lasswell's Douglas County Circuit Courtroom, and charged with Murder in the death of Kevin Omann last September.

Omann's body was found in a gravel pit on a remote road near Milo.

16-year-old Austin Clark of Days Creek is also charged in the case, and he is expected to be arraigned later this month.

Both teens will be tried in adult court, and face possible life in prison if convicted on the murder charge.
