Pregnant Wash. woman, children survive car crash into ravine
BRUSH PRAIRIE, Wash. – A pregnant woman and her two children are recovering in a hospital after their car rolled 75 feet into a ravine near Brush Prairie Friday evening.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene near Westerholm Rd. just after 7 p.m.
Firefighters said people who saw the crash helped get the woman’s children, ages 3 and 5, out of the car, but they could not get her out. Rescue crews broke through the car’s rear window and top to get her out safely.
The woman and her children were taken to Peacehealth Southwest Washington Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown.
It’s unclear what caused the car to roll into the ravine.
