MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. -- Myrtle Creek police officers arrested two Washington men on Wednesday, after they say they found over three pounds of marijuana in a vehicle.
According to Myrtle Creek Police Chief Don Brown, an officer working interdiction at milepost 107 northbound, made a stop on a black Mercedes displaying Washington plates.
The vehicle took the Myrtle Creek exit and stopped at the saw shop on Main Street.
Officers conducted an investigation which led to the discovery of an alleged 3.3 pounds of marijuana.
The driver, Thomas Clayton Watson, 31, and his passenger, William Bradley Norman, 44, both from the Bremerton, Washington area, were both arrested and lodged in the Douglas County Jail.
Both men were charged with unlawful possession and distribution of marijuana.
Bail for each man is set at $200,000.
