RIDDLE, Ore. -- About 150 people turned out for a vigil Thursday night for the Riddle girl who disappeared 10 years ago while babysitting at a home in Tri City just north of there.

Family, friends and many members of the community, including law enforcment officers who have been on the case for years, showed up at the city park in Riddle, Ore., to support the family of Stephanie Condon.

Stephanie was 14 when she disappeared on Oct. 30, 1998.

No sign of her has ever been found, but her parents, Marty and Christine Condon, hope they eventually find out what happened to their daughter.

"The prayers, we can feel them. Stay alert, just listen, any little thing they might have heard, could be the one little piece of the puzzle we need to bring this to an end," said Christine Condon.

Stephanie's father added, "It's been 10 years and to have this much support is absolutely incredible."

The Condons said the support they've received helps them get through tough times.

Police continue to follow up leads in the case. Just last week, the Stephanie Condon Task Force and FBI investigators searched a pond east of Canyonville, Ore., that has been of interest to them.

There's no word yet on what, if anything, they found during the search.
