PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say they have found and quarantined two pit bulls suspected of attacking a Molalla man on Christmas morning.

The Molalla Police Department said 21-year-old Christopher Friesen suffered punctures, abrasions and other injuries when the dogs attacked him after he left a friend's house.

He was treated at Silverton Hospital and released in the afternoon.

Police say doctors believed a smaller person could have been killed by the attack.

Clackamas County Dog Services is holding the pit bulls.
