Facts about hunger in Douglas County:

  • 40% of the people served by our agencies are children.
  • 30% of households have at least one person working.
  • 91% of households served live below the poverty level.
  • 33% of households served are two-parent families.
     

Umpqua Community Action Network helps by providing food to agencies serving low-income people, including: eleven food pantries and six community kitchens.

March 23 - April 3, join KPIC and it's sponsors and contributors in helping re-stock the shelves at UCAN to help those in need in our local area. Together, we Can Do!
