Local boy scouts start annual food drive

Local boy scouts will be picking up cans of food for the needy this Saturday.

Please be sure to have your bags ready for pickup by 9am. The scouts in the Hucrest area will also be picking up any cans or bottles to return for the deposit. These funds raised will be sent to some local heroes in Iraq.

If you need help arranging a pick up of food or cans you may contact Joanne McReynolds at 672-4115 or deliver them to the Salvation Army located on Stephens st, in Roseburg.

Please let them know that you are donating to the Boy scouts of the Doug Fir district.Our local scouts raised over 1,000 cans of food for local people in need.
