Douglas County vets participate in "Spay Day USA"

The animal control division will be offering discounted spay and neuter vouchers on Tuesday, February 27th in support of Spay Day USA. The vouchers will be available from 8 am to 5 pm at the sheriff's office in Roseburg, which is located at 1036 Southeast Douglas Avenue, in the Justice building room 210. Vouchers cost from $15 for a male cat to $55 for a female dog over eighty pounds.

Contracted Veterinarians that will accept this voucher for a paid-in-full spay or neuter include:

-Bailey Veterinary clinic in Roseburg,
-Parkway animal hospital in Roseburg,
-Companion animal clinic also in Roseburg.
-Countryside veterinary clinic in Days Creek.
-Oakland veterinary clinic in Oakland.
-River Valley veterinary clinic on Highway 99 South in Dillard.
-Sutherlin veterinary hospital in Sutherlin.

Dogs must be licensed in order to purchase a voucher, if your dog is six months old or older and not licensed, bring a current rabies vaccination and license your dog.
