Wolf Creek homicide suspect nabbed

WOLF CREEK, Ore. - A Oregon man from Wolf Creek who has eluded police multiple times has finally been captured. Police found him in Wolf Creek.

Joseph “Joey” George O’Dell was wanted by Josephine County sheriffs in southwest Oregon in connection with the mysterious death of his Wolf Creek girlfriend, Caitlyn Strauser. He was found and arrested Friday.

O'Dell is now lodged in Josephine County jail, charged with Manslaughter 1 in the death of the 20-year-old girl. The case has been handed over to the local district attorneys office.

Sheriff’s detectives are continuing the investigation into Caitlyn Strauser’s death and have asked that anyone with information in this case contact Detective John Auborn.
