ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Police and Fire Departments have been busy moving into the new public safety building downtown.

The police department is almost finished moving everything over to their new offices, and thanks to the move they have been able to get rid of outdated things they have accumulated over the years.

Officials say non important files from small crimes or citations have been shredded and will allow them to better organize everything else in the new building.

All police services are being handled at the current location off of Jackson Street, but on Monday all business will happen at the new public safety building.

There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony and public tour in early December.
