Sheriff: Sexually explicit cell phone pics spark sex abuse investigation
Stock image By KVAL.com staffCANYONVILLE, Ore. -- Two Canyonville residents face charges of sex crimes after sexually explicit photos depicting the couple and a 17-year-old girl were sent to an acquaintance's cell phone, the sheriff's office said Monday.
Deputies arrested Harold Dean Harrison, 51, of Canyonville, Ore., on suspicion of Using a Child in Display of Sexually Explicit Conduct, Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse II and Sexual Abuse III after serving a search warrant at his home Dec. 17. Deputies later arrested Michelle Harrison, 28, on suspicion of Using Child in Display of Sexually Explicit Conduct and Sexual Abuse III. The sheriff believes the incident happened Nov. 12. The investigation started Nov. 16 after the sheriff's office received information about a possible sexual relationship taking place between the Harrisons and a 17-year-old girl who was staying with them. The sheriff's office said sexually explicit photographs depicting the Harrisons and the girl were sent via cellular phone to a person who knew all three of them. |
