Woman arrested for allegedly taking thousands from boss

DAYS CREEK, Ore. -- A Days Creek women has been arrested for allegedly embezzling thousand of dollars from her boss.

Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Cheryl Kluegl, 53, after she admitted to writing checks to herself using her bosses accounts.

Kluegl did bookkeeping work for the victim's business, and police say that over the past three years she was able to embezzle $140,000, and they expect that number to go up.

Authorities are currently looking to see if she had any other bank accounts to send money to.
