ROSEBURG, Ore. - A jury has finally been seated for the murder trial of a Days Creek teenager who is accused of killing a Canyonville man in a remote area near Tiller nearly two and a half years ago.

Attorneys finally got their 12 jurors selected early Thursday evening, in Judge Randy Garrison's Douglas County Circuit Courtroom. They originally thought the process would only take a day, but it took two. Opening arguments are expected to start at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Eighteen-year-old Austin Clark is charged with murder in the death of Kevin Omann of Canyonville in September of 2007, in a remote area near Tiller. Clark faces life in prison if he's convicted.

The other defendant in the case, Charley Carnes was convicted in November, and sentenced to life with possible parole after 25 years.
