Law catches up with suspect after 100 mph chase in Sutherlin, Ore.
By Glen Beeby KPIC NewsSUTHERLIN, Ore. -- A suspect wanted in a Sutherlin high speed chase has been arrested. Clinton Paul Stillwell, also known as Clinton Reed, was arrested in Rice Hill, Ore., on charges related to a February chase. According to a Sutherlin Police Department press release, Douglas County Sheriff's deputies received information that Stillwell could be at a location in Rice Hill on Friday. Deputies, DINT detectives and officers from Sutherlin PD went to the location on Friday, and Stillwell was taken into custody without incident. Stillwell, 33, was lodged in the Douglas County Jail on charges of Attempt to Elude, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Violation of a Restraining Order and Recklessly Endangering Another, along with additional new charges from the Sheriff's Office. |
