KPIC Traffic Manager Terry Lee tries her best to reign in her donkey, having trouble holding on even before the game started.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Douglas County Shrine Club hosted the 2nd annual Donkey Basketball game at the fairgrounds this weekend.

If you think your kids are suborn, you should try dealing with one of these donkeys.

Over 500 people watched as the KPIC team took on the Douglas County News.

The laughs started before the game even got underway, as almost everyone had trouble getting on their donkey.

The fun didn't stop there because once they were on, players had to make shots while trying not to fall off.

Even though some of us left with battle scars and hoof prints, it was all for a good cause.

Money from the gate receipts and vendors will go to help kids in Douglas County.
