ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Every child enjoys time on the playground, but for children with special needs it's something they often miss out on.
This weekend the morning Roseburg Rotary Club and the North Roseburg Rotary Club are raising money to change that.
This weekend's event, 'Rotary in the Vines,' is geared toward raising funds to install special needs play equipment in various parks throughout Douglas County.
Rotary Club member Anita Cox says they hope to provide some cool things specifically geared towards speacial needs children. "Our goal is to have interactive playground equipment for children to be able to play on in an environment that's open for interaction," she said.
The event will be at Abacela Vineyards from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
If you would like tickets for this Saturday's event, you can contact the morning rotary club.
