KPIC's Kat Wolcott holds down a cart at the annual KPIC Can Do Food Drive. Almost 3,000 pounds of food were raised this year.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The numbers are in, and Douglas County has proven once again that we 'Can Do.'

The annual Can Do food drive was a huge success.

KPIC brought in nearly 3,000 pounds of food, almost doubling what was brought in last year.

All of the food donated will go to help feed those in need in Douglas County.

The good news: If you missed the event, we're not done yet.

The food drive will continue throughout the month.

You can drop food off at the KPIC studios on Umpqua Street, or any AmericanWest (formerly PremierWest) bank branch.
