Info sought on pair of dog bites in Roseburg

ROSEBURG, Ore. - Public health officials are asking for the public's help locating two dogs involved in bite incidents.

The dogs are needed for observation, as required by law.

The first bite happened Sunday around 6 p.m. A brindle-colored dachshund dog bit a man walking in the alley between Pine and Mill streets, near J and J Market downtown.

The dog's owner is described as a young woman with dark hair who stood around 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10.

The second bite happend near Costco in Roseburg on Monday morning just before 10 a.m.

A gray-colored medium to large mix breed dog bit a man who had just got out of his car off Stephens Street.
