Jeep lands on side in Roseburg crash
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Authorities say a Roseburg woman was shaken up and pretty sore after a crash Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called just after 3:00 pm, to a report that a Jeep had rolled over on Stewart Parkway near .
Crews arrived to find the Jeep on its side in a ditch next to the roadway, and the driver, 42-year-old Deanna Wright, was trapped inside.
Crews had to extricate the woman and she was taken to Mercy to be checked out.
Authorities say Wright was passing a vehicle heading southbound when the Jeep left the roadway.
A witness at the scene told KPIC News that the vehicle struck a light pole before ending up on its side in the ditch.
Wright was issued a citation for failure to maintain a single lane.
