Man arrested for alleged lewd acts with young boy

COQUILLE, Ore.-- The Coos County Sheriff's Department says it has arrested a Sweet Home man who use to live in Coquille for allegedly performing sexual acts on a 5-year-old Coos Bay boy.
Sheriff's deputies say 18-year-old Aaron James Flanders is under arrest after the mother of the alleged victim says her 5-year-old son performed sexual acts on him last week.
The mother then reported what her son had told her to the Coos County Sheriff's Department, and they began investigating the claims.
It was later that same day, deputies thought they had enough evidence to arrest Flanders.
The investigation into the abuse is still on-going. No word yet on when Flanders is expected to be arraigned.
