Man arrested on host of alleged sex abuse charges

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man is behind bars for allegedly sexually abusing an underage girl.
Billy Canfield, 24, was arrested early Monday morning on several warrants.
He's being charged by police with first degree sex abuse, sexual penetration with an object and several other charges.
The victim is a teenage girl who police say was known to Canfield.
Officials say the charges stem from an investigation that began in October of last year, and the crimes were alleged to have been committed more than a year ago.
He's currently being held at the Douglas County Jail on $250,000 bail.
