Names released in fatal Hwy 101 crash
WALDPORT, Ore. -- Oregon State Police have released the names of the two women who were killed in a crash north of Waldport on Highway 101 Sunday morning.
Emergency crews were called out to the crash about 3.5 miles north of Waldport at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police said that a Dodge Ram truck driven by Spencer Foley, 23 of Toledo, was headed south towing a flatbed trailer with a Polaris off-road vehicle on board.
At around milepost 152 the trailer started to fishtail back and forth. Eventually it broke free of the truck and went into the northbound lane.
The trailer hit the side of a Toyota Sienna van carrying two women, police said. The off-road vehicle left the trailer and hit the van as well.
The two women found deceased at the scene were identified Suzanne Carol Aiken, 69, and her mother, Loise A. Raether, 94, both of Yachats, Ore.
Troopers say both women were wearing seat belts and the airbags in the van did deploy.
Hwy 101 was blocked for about four hours while authorities investigated the crash.
The trailer came loose the exact same what that destroyed Mrs. Decker back in 2006 and looks exactly the same read the last page and wake up already...http://www.dangeroustrailers.org/uploads/TA14new.pdf

The issue cannot be as clear....and we ask..why has Erie Insurance Ignored us? Why has Farmers Insurance ignored us? Why has Farm Breau insurance ingnored us? Why is it us and Purdue University produced any ground breaking safety material at no cost to you...but my own government has tried and stop us from presenting the truth and save lives.http://www.dangeroustrailers.org/uploads/PPP-92_Keeping_The_Trailer_Connected_To_The_Truck.pdf

The owner of the Crappy Homemade trailer destroyed these two women....just like a gun man would......
How many more need to be destroyed like this...before Ray LaHood of NHTSA and Donald Karol of the NTSB calls us again to address why Washington has done NOTHING...but address why you are drinking Big Glups.
We know all about these dangerous trailers and the Media does not report the truth....EVERY HITCH..EVERY TRAILER HAS NO NATIONAL STANDARD ANYTHING GOES...safety chains...fail...if they are used...breaks fail if they are used Oregon is in violation of Federal Law...every trailer over 3,000 GVWR needs to have breaks because the hitch systems are failing and the safety chains do not always work. go to www.dangeroustrailers.org
