ROSEBURG, Ore. -- If you watch Monday Night Football, you might see some familiar faces this week. The RHS Marching Band is featured in a new commercial set to premier during the big game.
The new commercial for Coastal Farm & Ranch is a 30-second spot that was filmed here in Douglas County.
Not only did the students get the chance to participate in the spot, which is set to be seen in over 3 million homes throughout Oregon and Washington, they made a pretty good impression as well. "We couldn't be prouder of these young adults," said Coastal Farm & Ranch owner Buzz Wheeler. "We were so impressed by their hard work that we increased our donation to help them buy new instruments and uniforms."
The commercial features the Roseburg band kids marching through a Douglas County ranch, playing the Coastal jingle.
It will run twice every week in December during ESPN's Monday Night Football in local homes with Charter Cable. Homes that don't have Charter can still see the commercial during KPIC's morning news. Officials from Coastal say the commercial will also air on other high profile primetime programs and specials.
The commercial was created for Coastal's upcoming 50th anniversary.
