DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- The second pursuit on I-5 through Douglas County in as many days ended with a crash and a person in custody Thursday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police trooper attempted to stop an Acura Integra with expired tags that was heading northbound near milepost 118 shortly after noon and the vehicle didn't stop, officials said.

The pursuit went north on I-5 at speeds over 100 miles per hour, until the vehicle took exit 119 towards Winston. Authorities say the vehicle couldn't make the corner and crashed on Grange Road near Highway 99.

Authorities were able to take the driver, who they identified as Dee Swiss Thomas IV, 31, of Azalea, into custody.

Troopers say Thomas had a passenger with him, who they identified as Stacey Ullah, 18, of Winston.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but neither Thomas or Ullah had any injuries.

Officials say Thomas had several warrants for his arrest.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
